WHAT A PRECIOUS COMMODITY HOPE IS. VITAL AS WATER,AIR, FOOD, SHELTER. YES, AND THEN SOME. We may possess these other life giving elements, and yet, without HOPE attached, what you got ?
NOT MUCH
Hope, as important as health, love, friends, family, security, and for me, and this is just me, sobriety. Again, at the risk of sounding redundant, we may possess these other wonders of life, and yet, without HOPE, what you got ?
NOTHING
HOPE, is a state of mind. a state of mental health. a state of being. When one has HOPE in their heart @ mind, the world and the people in it can be a beautiful place indeed. Thru the darkness, when we cling to hope, thru evil, violence, corruption, betrayal, cheating, lying, stealing, grief, death, illness, accidents, thru this darkness, one can believe again and continue believing in love, joy, beauty, peace, abundance, tolerance, faith, forgiveness, @ ultimately, a better tomorrow. Thru the darkness, we can retain, with help, love, kindness, forgiveness, @ amazingly, be grateful.
INCREDIBLY, incredibly, it can be done, thru JESUS CHRIST, for I am loved and NEVER alone. Thru people, hope can be obtained, again. And, the world can remain a beautiful place with beautiful people in it.

A friend of mine recently took her own life. she was a very sweet, kind, wonderful woman. She was 47 years old, a mother. i had the privilege of meeting her daughter. let's let this sit for a moment of silence.
OK, AWFUL TRAGEDY, YES. JUST SAD. my friend had issues and tried to get help. she did not get the help she needed. Suicide, a state of grief, of despair, hopelessness. so sometimes we kill ourselves. sick-tragic-no hope for a better tomorrow.
But there is hope, GODDAMMIT ! there is always hope for a better tomorrow. there is help. GOD/JC @ our guardian angels are out there. ALWAYS ! I know because i would have ended without them. there is a way out. reasons to go on. we can ease the pain and suffering. TIME-GRACE OF GOD-LOVE-ANGELS who can help. help to save us. We cannot give up !
Did my friend give up? was the pain too unbearable? sometimes, yes. she lost hope.

We got more gun laws on the books than we can count, and O says we need more. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, WHERE DO WE FIND THESE PEOPLE? how helpful has the current crop of laws been? More gun laws, more unintended consequences !!! How many time's we gonna need to go thru this again ! how much longer will i be made to suffer ? More violence than ever.
DRUGS;
More drug laws too ! more drugs on the streets than ever ! YES, BE PROUD OF OUR POLITICIANS ! just ask your teenager what he or she can score at the local HS. anything you little druggies desire !!!UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES. madness. yes our current crop of fearless leaders really got it goin on, no? WE ARE SCREWED !!! so disappointing. so useless. insignificant in regards to public safety. If this current regime is the best and brightest, . . . I HAVE NO FAITH IN THESE ASSHOLES WHATSOEVER.
How did we get to this? Why? how do we stop hate? stop evil? stop violence?
How in the name of sanity do some people choose wanton (give it to me) evil as acceptable behavior? Believing acts of violence are justifiable. I DO NOT GET IT. I do not want to. Acts of violence, acts of cowards, spreading more evil as acceptable behavior.
WHAT THEN ?
RELIGION @ GOD are 2 different things. organized religion has totally dropped the ball. so many have turned away. understandable what with all the corruption.
SPIRITUALITY as a way of life, namely the teachings of JESUS CHRIST. for example, LOVE, FORGIVENESS, @ WE ARE ALL BROTHERS and SISTERS. revolutionary, i am well aware. some of you may even be familiar. WHAT YOU SAY ? HUH? OR, IF YOU ARE ONE OF THE UNINFORMED, NOW YOU KNOW. simple, too simple. genius, even. all non-violent. Hey, how bout that? But(right along side with albeit! gimme some!), and here is one big but(get your head out of gutter), this begins with you. that's right. you heard me correctly. not me and other people. You, outward. yes, amazingly(and you will hate me for this), the problem @ solution begins and ends with you. Not all those other people who are going out of their way to ruin your life. No more finger-pointing. THE JIG IS UP ! From you, out. to your home, family, schools, community, workplace, out to the rest of the world.
Remember, the battle of good v. evil is fought one life at a time. So yes, you, me, we, not other people who are ruining our lives. Sorry, the truth, baby, we seek the truth.

Praying is cool. i pray everyday. not a regular church goer, per SE.(what the fuck does per SE mean anyway? perhaps, it is what it is, if i here one more motherfucker say it is what it is, someone gonna die !). Sorry, A-D-D strikes at the most inopportune(come on !) moments. But mass can be a cool thing, a peaceful place even. When i do pray, i mostly get this reply from THE GOOD LORD above - GET UP ! GET BUSY ! GO TO WORK ! GET OFF YOUR LAZY ASS ! TIME FOR ACTION ! RIGHT ACTION !
For nothing gets better by itself. God does help, oh yes, but nevertheless(FINALLY), I NEED TO MAKE GOOD DECISIONS AND ACT ON THEM ! ACTION being key word. Right action is the key to a happy life,(Thank you Bill Wilson, another WAY underrated hero of the 20th century. for this man changed the world). This is the essence of Spirituality. carry the message ! act upon the teachings of Jesus Christ ! IN MY DAILY LIFE ! are you with me? Heathens, am i going too fast? Yes, finally, i got something i can work with ! GO BABY ! GO ! can't stop now ! Now i'm a live wire ! A runaway Zephyr ! do the right thing. do the good thing. We all know the diff between right ! wrong, do we not ? only the psychotic @ the criminals are NOT aware( and these people @ assholes should not be allowed on the streets, but this is another chapter. OH YES, this one is coming, all you judges, politicians, asshole lawyers, this one is coming at you !).
MENTAL ILLNESS IS AT EPIDEMIC PROPORTIONS, NO ?
Do your homework, go to work, get a job, provide for your family, teach kids right from wrong, now! help someone. action ! get out of yourself. sacrifice, be a friend, support one another, be a mom, be a dad, be compassionate, have empathy, listen, sympathy, care, GIVE.
GIVE AWAY THE ENTIRE PRODUCT. GIVE HOPE !!

A friend of mine recently took her own life. she was a very sweet, kind, wonderful woman. She was 47 years old, a mother. i had the privilege of meeting her daughter. let's let this sit for a moment of silence.
OK, AWFUL TRAGEDY, YES. JUST SAD. my friend had issues and tried to get help. she did not get the help she needed. Suicide, a state of grief, of despair, hopelessness. so sometimes we kill ourselves. sick-tragic-no hope for a better tomorrow.
But there is hope, GODDAMMIT ! there is always hope for a better tomorrow. there is help. GOD/JC @ our guardian angels are out there. ALWAYS ! I know because i would have ended without them. there is a way out. reasons to go on. we can ease the pain and suffering. TIME-GRACE OF GOD-LOVE-ANGELS who can help. help to save us. We cannot give up !
Did my friend give up? was the pain too unbearable? sometimes, yes. she lost hope.
My friend will be missed, for she made the world a better place. i pray for her daughter.

A young man of about 30. A recovering alcoholic, a father, husband. Now, a paraplegic in a wheelchair. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Rory and what struck me most was his attitude. He was the happiest @ most grateful person in the room ! I was stunned for this is heroic ! talk about inspiring. sometimes i think i have problems and then invariably i meet someone like Rory.
Courageous and still believing in a better tomorrow. GOD ALMIGHTY !!!
How do we explain these 2 lives? how do make sense of this? tragedy strikes, we know not why. Miracles happen, we know not why. Maybe, we are not supposed to know. Perhaps, this is God's turf ? and his alone.
NEVER give up. life is way too short. too precious. there are ways to make things better. i cannot, must not, will not, allow the bad of the world to deter me. NEVER ! and why?
BECAUSE I AM A CHILD OF GOD ! i deserve a good life. a life of love, beauty, joy, peace, fun, abundance ! I believe in JC with the heart of a child so i may see the kingdom of heaven. Heaven is found within and all around me. AND EVIL CANNOT TOUCH ME ! I must believe. it starts with me. with me out. and the good, the best, and the beautiful are mine. and nobody and nothing can take them from me. i will not allow this. THE BAD WILL NOT DEFEAT ME !
FINDING HOPE ;
Hope in the form of people, yes, who sometimes appear out of thin air (Sometimes at Jewel Food Store, frozen food section, June 18, 2015). They bring hope, faith, kindness showing me, you, us that we are NEVER, EVER alone. knowing tomorrow can get better. I do my best in choosing, believing, @ seeking the good, love, joy NO MATTER WHAT !
